out at the Premier League's top clubs, suggesting
that they are “afraid” to say they want to win the
title.
The Portuguese claims United's rivals for the league
crown prefer to hide their intentions to win the title,
which is something he cannot afford to do due to the
lofty expectations at Old Trafford.
Speaking ahead of United's Premier League opener
against Bournemouth, Mourinho said: “Many teams
think they can win it (the Premier League) but they
are afraid to say it, they prefer to play a defensive
game in the press.
