
President Muhammadu Buhari has sent a
strong warning to armed herdsmen
pillaging farming communities across the
country.
The president expressed his displeasure
with the incessant of communities by the
herdsmen as he promised to go hard on
them.
The president however promised to address
challenges affecting the Niger-Delta.
He spoke today at the graduation ceremony
of course 24 of the National Defence
College in Abuja.
Meanwhile the Nigerian Air Force has
resumed the aerial bombardment of
hideouts of the vandals in the Ogun State
axis of Arepo, launching fresh air strikes
today.
Reports say that the airforce resumed the
current attack after gunshots were
heard from deep inside the mangrove forest
following the visit of the Acting Inspector
General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, and other
top security personalities to the area on
Thursday.
Director of Information and Public Relations
of the Nigerian Air Force, Grp. Capt.
Ayodele Famuyiwa, confirmed the resumed
attack on the vandals location.
